Today is wash day [September 8, 2013], my last wash day was September 1, 2013 when I had used some products sent to me for reviews. I had not so favourable experience with the line.
On September 3, 2013 I had to run through my stash to see what I could find to remedy the disaster. [I did a pre-poo with Original Moxie Emollience Pre-Poo Treatment and then steam with it for a further 30mins. I then co-wash with Tressemme Vibrantly Smooth Conditioner for a boost of Moisture and leave-in with Oyin Hair Dew seal with Shea Mix and Oyin Pomade. – My hair breathed again]
Anyway I still feel the need for another extra kick of Moisture, suppleness and manageability. So I decide to do another wash session today. The products below is what I will be using today.
[1]. Pre-Poo overnight and finger detangle – Original moxie Emollience Treatment
[2]. Co-wash with Tresemme Naturals Vibrantly Smooth Conditioner
[3]. DC/Steam for 20-30mins with Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner
[4]. Spritiz with Hairveda Hydra Silica Mist
[5]. Seal with Olive Oil
[6]. Leave-in will be Reve Essential Moisturizer - [Creme Brulee]
MY JACKED-UP-HAIR!
So this is my hair after an overnight pre-poo treatment with the Original Moxie Emollience Treatment [review to come]. I was given this treatment by a friend that it didn’t work for her hair.
This my third [3rd] time using it and I must say I am very impress, I’m impress to the point of actually buying it in the larger size [6oz]. But the price tag is what is holding me back >.<.
I Left the pre-treatment on overnight as mentioned and then I sat under my steamer with it for about 20-30mins. I then proceed to co-wash and detangle with the Tresemme Naturals [full review to come]
I rinsed the Tresemme conditioner out and then got some of the water out by using my hair cloths. I then apply the Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose DC [review to come] in sections to my hair working it in.
I steam for 30mins with the Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose DC.
My hair with the Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose After I finish steaming. This is my first time using this DC. I will given it another go next week prior to me reviewing it.
After I rinsed the Dc out, I Spritz each section with the Hairveda Hydra Silica Mist.
I then apply my moisturizer which the Reve Essentials Hair & Body Moisturizer to damp hair and I sealed with Olive Oil.
I twisted my hair up in medium twist for a twist-out.
Reviews of all the products used in this wash session will be posted shortly. Stay Tune!
